Wheel Throwing and Hand Building
Beginners Ages 6 and up. 2 max persons
Participants will experience for the first time what it feels like to throw on the wheel and build by hand using simple techniques like slab and coil building. There will be a lot of practice time at first and then working towards 2 finished projects by the end of the session. Due to needed time for firing, we will have to add one day for glazing, We will schedule at no extra cost.

Painting using line and color to MUSIC, Ages 3-10
Children get to explore what it is like to connect visual art to the music they hear. They will realize that colors give certain feelings, as well as lines. They will be able to express through the visual arts what they are hearing and realize the freedom music can bring to your creative juices when you release your will to music like classical, drum and instrumental sounds. This is a fun, feel good time where children get to have fun and moving their bodies to music as they paint and draw.

New Class!  “Paint From Photos, Without Being Tied to Them”
Tuesdays, January 24 – February 28
6:00 – 8:00 pm
$144
This class is for beginner through intermediate painters, those who are just starting out to those who have been painting for a while.  Through the class you will learn basics as well as tips for furthering your painting skills.  You will use photos, preferably your own photographs, and learn how to use them as a reference, rather than something you copy.  We will also talk about how to take photographs that do some of the work for you.  My classes are informal and low-key, so I hope you will join me this winter to paint!
